About the Indiana Masonic Home at Compass Park

Nestled on 300 beautiful acres in Franklin, Indiana, just south of Indianapolis, the Indiana Masonic Home at Compass Park has been a trusted retirement community since 1916. For more than a century, Compass Park has proudly served Indiana’s Masonic families by providing a welcoming place to call home.

Whether you are living independently, seeking occasional assistance, or in need of comprehensive health care, the Indiana Masonic Home at Compass Park offers living arrangements and levels of support designed to meet you where you are. Residents can make themselves at home in a cottage, duplex, or apartment while enjoying the security and convenience of a welcoming senior living community.

With services such as dining, housekeeping, laundry, and lawn care available, residents can spend less time worrying about daily chores and more time enjoying the people and activities they love. Compass Park’s 160-bed health center offers comprehensive care and private accommodations, while its Skilled Nursing Center is recognized for providing exceptional long-term care.

Compass Park offers many opportunities for residents to remain active, engaged, and connected. Ransford Chapel, located on campus, currently hosts Sunday worship services that welcome residents of many faith traditions and accommodate a variety of physical needs.

Construction is also underway on the new Velma Wortman Memorial Chapel. Once completed, this beautiful, dedicated space will provide a place for worship, reflection, comfort, and connection, serving as a spiritual heart of the campus for residents, families, and visitors.

Throughout the week, residents can participate in exercise groups, prayer circles, coffee and social hours, crafts, ceramics, card games, concerts, outings, and other recreational activities. Planned day trips and shopping excursions offer even more opportunities to explore, socialize, and build lasting friendships.

Along with a welcoming home and a strong sense of community, residents enjoy the beauty of Compass Park’s spacious campus. Visitors are greeted by the distinctive entrance arch, beautifully landscaped gardens, and the impressive elevated garden fountain.
